Changelog v1.8 (27.12.16):
- Fixes for the changes in Firefox v51 (and higher) of the "selected tab".
- OS specific fixes for the appearance of the "selected tab".
- Fixes for the option "Tabs on bottom".
- Marked as compatible with the Multiprocess .
----------
Changelog v1.7 (23.04.16):
- New: Option "Classic tab background".
- New: Option "Disable the space between tabs".
- New: Option "Disable the close buttons".
- New: Option "Minimal tab width".
- New: Option "Maximal tab width".
- Cosmetic changes and improvements of the tab appearance.
- Changed the "icon.png" of the extension.
--------------------------------------------------
A small and simple extension, which replaces the curved tabs of the Australis design (Firefox v29+) with squared ones, similar to Firefox v28 and prior. Furthermore it gives you some options like "tabs on bottom".
--------------------
Important: This extension works with Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10), Linux (tested with Ubuntu) and Mac OS (see review). In lack of Apple hardware I can't test future releases.
----------
Features:
- "Tabs on bottom" (configurable).
- "Classic tab background" (configurable).
- "Disable the space between tabs" (configurable).
- "Transparency for unloaded tabs" (configurable).
- "Favicon for new tabs" (configurable).
- "Disable the Aero fog" (configurable).
- "Disable the close buttons" (configurable).
- "Minimal tab width" (configurable).
- "Maximal tab width" (configurable).
- Support for Tab Utilities Fixed (Faviconized Tabs, Tab-Stacking, etc.).
- Less wide pinned and faviconized tabs.
- Overall less waste of space in height and width than the default Australis tabs.
----------
Squared Australis Tabs for Thunderbird:
This extension is also available for Thunderbird: Squared Australis Tabs (Tb).
----------
Special thanks to Aris for the inspiration, learning and his general work as a nice and good AMO editor. For more adjustments of the Australis design try his great Classic Theme Restorer (Customize UI).
----------
I hope you like it. Have fun!

Can you increase the tab height? It's pretty small and I find it annoying when I'm using 2k monitor and bigger.
